Operating a mechanical and/or hydraulic brake dealing with metal products, and supports others doing the same, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Experience operating mechanical and/or hydraulic brakes
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack and “walk behind”.
  • Knowledge on how to use calipers, protractors.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Loads, stacks, and transports stock and work in process by hand or truck.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Performs other routine duties.
  • All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Must have a minimum of 6 months experience operating mechanical or  hydraulic brakes. Ability to read blueprints, use calipers, protractors and machinist squares is a must; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Purpose of this position is to analyze all materials/products throughout our facility ensuring accuracy and conformity to company documented requirements.

Applicants should have experience in previous inspection activity, corrective action follow-up, first article documentation and previous training in inspection techniques (including calipers, CMM and micrometers).

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED is required, strong blueprint reading skills, basic inspection skills, ability to pay attention to detail, good shop math and reading comprehension skills, be quality conscious and a self-starter.

The right candidate will be productive and respected by all levels of co-workers. They must be able to successfully work independently and also as a team member. Must be able to take direction.

A good attendance history (reliability) and a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and skills is a must.

We can teach the advanced inspection techniques – we are looking for someone with a solid foundation we can build upon.

The AI & Digital Solutions Engineer partners with the Continues Improvement Engineer to identify, develop, validate, implement, and continuously improve AI-powered business solutions. The role bridges operational teams and technical development, working directly with employees to understand workflows, test and validate solutions, train users, and drive adoption throughout the software development lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities

Solution discovery: observe processes, meet with Divisions, document repetitive work, and gather user requirements.

· Development support: collaboration on software builds, AI workflows, reports, dashboards, and database development.

· Testing and validation: user acceptance testing, regression testing, AI output validation, and bug reporting.

· User adoption: train employees, develop SOPs and user guides, conduct demonstrations, and collect feedback.

· Data and analytics: build reports, analyze KPIs, validate production data, and support ROI reporting

Qualifications
