- Supervises, coaches, and reviews assigned employees.

- Advises purchasing of requirements for laser and press brake supplies/equipment.
- Responsible for department housekeeping.
- Review work orders and drawings to ensure an awareness of job requirements.
- Works with engineering and quality to achieve cost effective processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints.

- Required to be a shop floor working supervisor when needed to fill in.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate degree; and minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a supervisory role.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Operating a mechanical and/or hydraulic brake dealing with metal products, and supports others doing the same, by performing the following duties.

SUMMARY
Fabricates and assembles metal products, and supports others doing the same, by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG &/or Spot) to weld components together.
- Sets up welding equipment
- Blueprint reading.
- Lifts, positions, and removes pieces for welding.
- Marks reference points to assist in layout.
- Loads, stacks, and transports stock and work in process by hand or truck.
- Attaches grappling equipment to pieces to prepare piece for moving by crane or jib.
- Grind, clean, polish parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools
- Performs visual inspection of all components handled and some dimensional inspections using simple measurement devices
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Performs other routine duties.
- All other duties as assigned.

Job Description: Purpose of this position is to analyze all materials/products throughout our facility ensuring accuracy and conformity to company documented requirements.
Applicants should have experience in previous inspection activity, corrective action follow-up, first article documentation and previous training in inspection techniques (including calipers, CMM and micrometers).
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED is required, strong blueprint reading skills, basic inspection skills, ability to pay attention to detail, good shop math and reading comprehension skills, be quality conscious and a self-starter.
The right candidate will be productive and respected by all levels of co-workers. They must be able to successfully work independently and also as a team member. Must be able to take direction.
